The Salvation Army was founded in London, England, in 1865 by William Booth. It is now an international organization with divisions in 100 countries throughout the world. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

olunteers are the backbone of all programs -- everywhere in The Salvation Army. They are a major part of the reason why The Salvation Army gets so much for each dollar which is donated by our donors.

Volunteers tutor, cook, clean, teach, mentor, supervise children at play, coach, provide companionship for seniors and transport them to appointments, visit families, visit prisoners, help with holiday baskets, serve on advisory boards, roll up their sleeves in times of disasters, ring the bells during The Red Kettle effort....

Is there something you’d like to do for the people in your community?

Why not start with bell ringing at a Red Kettle with a friend or family member? Your kids would love it. They could make joyful noise while learning the importance of giving to those less fortunate.

Please, fill out the form and join us in helping to make change happen. We promise you a worthwhile experience.

If your schedule or life style doesn’t permit volunteer time, perhaps you’d like to support the efforts of The Salvation Army in your community by making a tax-deductible gift. All donations are directed to the Corps or Service Unit nearest you.
